Title
Automatic pruning of deleted/purged accounts from Communities...

Short, concise description of the idea
LJ should implement a way to automatically remove purged accounts from communities.

Full description of the idea
Livejournal does not presently perform any sort of automatic pruning on communities, leaving the moderator to manually visit the list of members and remove purged and deleted accounts from the list of community members. This is a time-consuming task on communities that have large numbers of members, and is something that should be automated either on a schedule, or when accounts are purged.
An ordered list of benefits
  • This would save the community moderator(s) from having to manaully prune the membership lists on a routine basis.
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • Note that this should not be performed with accounts marked for deletion, as an account marked as such can be undeleted. Only accounts that have been purged should have this process performed.
  • And if this seemly-simple idea is not technically feasible to implement, or would be too complicated or a major performance impact, then I can probably be ignored. :D

purged accounts, communities, community membership, community maintenance, § no status, deleted accounts
