"my life isn't only a movie, its a horror movie"

I got the lead part in a movie called my life.
The show starts 8:00 a.m. Monday through Friday,
and ends as soon as I'm alone.
i walk through the halls with a smile plastered on my face.
the smile and laughter is in substitution for stage makeup
i see a friend run up to me and i keep the plastered smile
i turn the corner and theirs a vacant hall.
no ones around, its intermission
the smile despairs and my confident walk is now a slouch
i hear the sound of people meaning its time for me to go back on stage.
i re-apply my plastered smile and stand tall and proud
i cant help thinking of what's killing me inside.
my smile almost disappears and my eyes water
no! i tell myself. keep smiling!
stay in character someone might be looking
inside i feel like and egg slowly cracking and leaking out strength.
class by class goes by with my head up tall and taking notes.
this movie is great, everyone believes my acting is reality.
few audience members know me with out and act on
they are the ones who get free admission
not only free admission to the show,
but free admission to my heart.
