...wh-where...wh-where am I? [The voice is noticeably female and there is a slight accent to it.] Hope? Sazh? Lightning?

[She shifts, possibly getting to her feet.]

What kind of place is this? I've never seen anythin' like this before. [Her voice gains some strength.

Yeah, I'm fine. I've been living with Lightning since I got here.

Not very long ago. Only a week or two.

...that long? [Her voice softens.] But I just saw you. On the ship.

Time works different here, I think. Lightning's seen a lot more than I have about what happens to us.

...Which ship?

So she's from...the future?

The Sanctum one! We stole it and escaped Cocoon!

Weird! Can you tell me what happens in the future?

Uhh...I don't think that's a very good idea. Not to talk about here on the journals, anyway.

These journals have a map. If you bring that up, you should be able to see where you are, then we can figure out where we can meet.
