biloxi, mississip.
there are still pieces of clothing stuck in the sand at the edge of Mississippi's beach in gulfport. items of clothing. i also found a refrigerator in the road...many houses have been reduced to mere slabs of concrete, some with really weird objects in the middle of them (folding chair?). one street was called "Buena Vista" ironically and marked by a 2 by 4 with sharpie written on it. none of the houses were standing.
what i can't get over is how many children must've died.
biloxi had the highest death toll.
it was a good trip, but i just realized how sad i am.
also ask me about emmett and t-bone sometime.
