trust:
that He has a plan for you. that even if you fail everything, it will be okay, because even that is part of his plan for your life. remember, that now, A levels seem like everything; as if A levels is a hinge on a door that opens into your future, into countless possibilities and into the next chapter of your life. but ten years down the road, actually, two months down the road. you will never need to know how to find solubility product and ksp ever again. who cares is temperature is the only thing that affects kc & kp? no one.
things you'll never need to do again:
calculate the probability that a company has overstated its claim on the mass of potato chips in a packet. calculate the area under a freaking curve. get error on your GC. lug my entire bio syllabus around. camp in the void deck / stay in school until ten pm to study and still not be done at ten when they chase you out.
things you never needed to know but you do know:
that a rough endoplasmic reticulum existed. dna packaging. how cancer cells happen and how many mutations it takes to drive a cell towards cancer.
okay maybe that would come into handy when you get cancer (touch wood) in the near/istant furture, but what good will knowing how it happened to you do you any good? its not like you can stop it. from happening.
dear ras proto-oncogene, please do not undergo a gain in function mutation or i will die. thank you. especially since you are dominant and it only thats one mutation to drive the cell towards cancer, omg.
aka A levels isnt everything. there's more to life than this. just wait and see. (:
things i will miss:
dinner sessions where we talk and go crazy and fill the void with laughter and noise and just stop studying for awhile and be human again. looking up to see familiar faces all around me, knowing that they know exactly how i feel. my corner in the hub. the feeling of finally getting a math question right. i will miss you.
disclaimer:
if you want to be a doctor, which is an aspiration half the world around me shares, yes you still need to know molecular biology and what happens in a cell during respiration. i guess.
if you are aiming to be an engineer architect or study business, do not throw your GC away so soon. i think you may need it in uni.
note that God will help those who help themselves.
miracles are called miracles for a reason- they are rare and magical and doesnt need to happen in your life for you to belive in them.
as a goodbye note:
Ephesians 3:20 says:
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
goodnight. no exam paper happens at 3am. go sleep. (:
