Quicky update, since I'm very tired and my eyes are begging for sleep:
On the 14th April, the Malaysians entered a competition named Davis Dance Revolution.Lotsa interesting hiphop and traditional dance performed. Here are some pics :

Anyways, I dont have any pic of us dancing cuz nobody was there to take pics. Here is some before and after party pics:

Ok,after all that, we didnt win anything because the other groups were soo much better but I was proud to showcase Malaysia and our culture in Davis. They didn't even know we exist before. So now, not only they know we are on this planet, but also that we can shake our tush!
Now, moving on to more fun stuff.Dato' Dr Rafidah Aziz, the Minister of International Trade and Industry came to visit San Jose and I actually got to meet her, shake her hands and even snap some pic!Boy, was I so lucky!I'm actually not that into politics and all, but the session with her left a mark on my heart..I felt close to her, and for once, I felt like I want to go back home and serve my country.
She said that the country needs young generation like us to continue the struggle and her words really made me rethink my decisions of settling in America.I'd rather be at home(Malaysia), earn less money and be somebody that make good changes there than live a comfortable life here(US) as a nobody.Get what I mean?Well, I guess I shouldn't get in too deep.I will leave it at that and we shall see.So here are the pics :

can you believe this! Not in a million years would I imagine having to get this close to her.I'd always see her on TV and I still remember at one time, she cried about her issues with Dr Mahathir( about the cars.Go figure). All I could say is,inside the "Iron-lady" is a very tender heart, indeed.
ABAH!I also met Dato' Shukri from Kulim Hi tech but didnt get to snap any pic cuz my friend was rushing to get back.It made my day, seeing someone from home.I miss home, and today I got a piece of it.I'm grateful.
