-new stuff-
Mmmm I love new stuff. I've gotten tons of it this week through the lovely mail and ups. My poor mailman must think I'm strange since I saw him on Tuesday and he said I had gotten ANOTHER package. lolol That was my third since Friday and since then I have gotten at least one more item every day since. Actually yesterday there was three more packages, one for me, one for Odvar and Jorge and my sister had ordered something so they got it mailed here. The best part is almost everything I have ordered were just books but they have come in all sorts of strange packaging. I'm still missing 2-3 more packages, hopefully one of those comes in before tomorrow I think I need it for next week.
Speaking of which I have been reading soo much my mind is like whoa. The sad part is I can't remember the last I've read this much. I've gone through at least 40 different short stories/stories/books in 3 weeks. I've been reading about 2-3 books asides from that at the same time as well. I'm kinda glad I don't work at the moment or I don't think I would have sufficient time to be able to do all this, and about 80% of this reading I need to do for my classes.
Man with my creative writing class, my papers are pure win. As I uploaded on my facebook the other day one of the comments I got from my teacher was a "LOL!" with an arrow pointing to what made him laugh too. I just found it highly amusing a professor would write lol, let alone in a writing class. Since dialogue has been my strongest/easiest thing to write about with, I've been sticking to those kinds of prompts only because I can make characters up easily and relate-able.
My niece is such a trip I just want to squeeze her sometimes. They've been up here for the past few days visiting. I think they're leaving today or might have left already since my sister and Jorge are strange like that, they went shopping but haven't decided if they were going to leave just yet. The weathers horrible today, coooold and raining. It's only suppose to get colder. I LOVE this weather. We went to downtown disney last night just because. I decided to annoy tourist and was smashing the mario coin key sound thing I have on my phone. Some kids were like looking around for it. Speaking of my phone, my niece knows how to unlock it! She's only 9 months. I do have it jailbroken so I have Mario's face as my unlock slider bar so she gets her little finger and slides her finger to unlock it, then she starts giggling. ... Seriously though what baby sits there and figures that out. I would give her the phone locked with the lock screen showing because she likes to look at stuff but man she figured out how to unlock it too quick.
Oh yea almost forgot. I got my new laptop! Since my original order got suspended because I changed the address on the card and ordered a micro sd card after I did a $10 purchase and then a few days later I went to make the purchase and bought a couple other things I really didn't need and well it added up to around $1200. So they thought it was a fraud purchase and I had to wait 7-9 business days before I could do anything. During that time of course another laptop came out. With about the same exact specs, just an i5 instead of i7 and a card 1 series under. This one was $750 which was a much more reasonable price and I can still play all my video games I don't even play anymore on it, since the card can handle just about everything at either almost high or high settings. So horray I finally have a full functioning machine that doesn't need to be plugged in 24/7. The battery life is about 2-3 hours which isn't bad at all for something of this magnitude.
