Apparently I have tv hair. That made me laugh. The rain this morning I thought was going to be for a miserable time since I park on one side of campus just to get some exercise. Luckily it stopped raining right when I walked outside. I got in my car however and I thought it was just foggy, so I turned my wipers on, nope. The inside was such a ( Read more... )

Yea 5 years is more than long enough haha. And Newegg ahh we have a very very high 4 digit amount credit line with them hahha. We only ever buy from there, especially since they sell pieces, since we usually build computers. Odvar's been having me check there incase something similar to the laptop I want goes on sale there but they're a tad overpriced and the laptops aren't customizable which is a big thing for me, because I like to pick and choose certain things. Like a graphics card is more important than a huge harddrive and yea newegg doesn't let you do that.

For you I would recommend one of the new i3 laptops. I'd recommend this: even though it's Dell, I love my dell laptops, I've had plenty of them lol. Only because of the screen size. It's not really portable per say but BIG SCREEN lol http://www.dell.com/us/en/home/notebooks/inspiron-1764/pd.aspx?refid=inspiron-1764&s=dhs&cs=19&~oid=us~en~29~inspiron-1764-ltd-anav2~~ but it has the new ram and 4 gigs, which will run you plenty fast, the hard drive is also over kill. But you can't go wrong for the price, similar machines on newegg go for a little more only because you can't really customize, Heck you can get one of the sony Viao's for about the same $700 range. For like $30 less on Dell you can get the 15 inch version, but it also has only 2gigs... so yea just let me know what else you want, I can look for you, it takes me like 2 whole seconds to find a decent or great laptop lol. Also your price range

Yea I died when Jimmy spilled the stuff on the floor and he comes in WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY STUDIO.

I do have to say.... I ended up getting an eMachines laptop at Best Buy for $280. Dude said it was ok if I plan on just downloading songs/few cds at a time, and browsing websites - since that's what I do mostly. I'm online at work anyway, I just needed something cheap for when I want to go on at home. It's so cheap! I hope it lasts me 5 years like my other one did, lol. I know nothing about the eMachine brand and it makes me nervous, but my bro says its good. I'm on it now, and so far so good, just gotta get use to the keypad.

Yea, they're made by gateway now, so you should have no worries, I think I know exactly which one you got too. You couldn't go wrong for that price. And of course I found the perfect laptop today on newegg hahaha... What are the chances? Going to wait until tomorrow though see if the price goes down even a hundred bucks since whatever new stupid product apple is releasing will be announced tomorrow.
