Today had its ups and downs.
Well, let's start with yesturday. I went to my counselor to plead my case for dropping honors precalc. I am not kidding, I have about 5 hours of homework, and that's a lot when you've got other shit going on too. I was on something when I signed up for all those honor and AP classes...anyway, to make a long story short, it's impossible to switch my schedule so I'm stuck there. She suggested that I go talk to my teacher (ms. sax) about how I was feeling in the class...that's the background info...
So today, I woke up at 7:23. That's exactly 6 minutes before I usually leave for school. So I dressed superfast, didn't have any breakfast and left, ran from the parking lot to Mr. Winter's room and got to my seat literally 10 seconds before the bell rang. *whew*
Pre-calc was like usual. We got into groups, everyone in my group was anti-social. Well, no, not Nick. But yeah...we worked in silence while everyone else had fun with their parametric equations. Then I talked to Ms. Sax at break and she told me (well this is just my interpretation) that she agreed I should probably be in regular but she couldn't slow down the class because I didn't get it and I should go in at lunch 2 times a week to get help with everything so she can basically review what I'm too stupid to understand in the first place. Great. That's just what I want to do.
I got to see photos of my french penpals in french class...then we talked in religion about...I don't even remember what, actually. I went into precalc to get help with test corrections (which actually wasn't what I was going in there about in the first place) at lunch, and missed the crepe party, which I was really pissed off about, since I went out at 9 last night to bring stuff for it. English was cool because Ms. Lawrence forgot about the grammar quiz, and AP Psych was very interesting. We watched a weird/unsettling/good documentary thing about kids who've grown up in the wild with animals, and this other creepy case about a father who locked his daughter in her room for 13 years and she'd never left her room or learned English or anything. Camille and I had a good talk about One Tree Hill and how we hate Lucas' new buzzed haircut (hahahaha).
That's it. I'm at work now (as usual....I swear 99% of these entries are written when I'm at work because I never have any supervision or anything to do really...)
P.S. Anyone taking the SAT Dec. 4th at TL?
