Butler Basketball
I just bought my tickets for the Wright State game on Saturday. I'm so excited cause this should be a really good game. And road tripping there will be fun unless it is snowing like it is now.
I saw Ligon in the hall this morning and he smiled at me. That pretty much made my day lol.
And who'd ever think we'd be in the top 10 this week?! And even more exciting... Butler made the front page of the sports section only 2 days after the Colts winning the Superbowl! The local media pretty much fails at giving Butler any attention so it is very exciting.
From the article: "A ranking in the top 10 is a rarity for a mid-major program such as Butler.
Since the 1986-87 season, Butler is the fifth mid-major to reach the top 10." We're kind of a big deal. And this makes me happy cause Dave is always going on and on about how Wisconsin is ranked higher and would beat Butler... but Wisconsin has the money to pay whoever they want to play for them and they are expected to be in the top 10 all the time. It's a little more exciting for a tiny school to be competing at the same level. So yay us.
