Durians and Dressies
Sooooooooo I bought a Durian yesterday at the asian market near where cutieamy_chan works. :D Always wanted to try one and was very shocked to see they had some 8D The dude was 6 pounds! (Apparently they can get up to $50 in the US but this one was $14...?) It's said to smell horribly but it was just smells like overripe pineapple and maybe onions? (But I love onions haha!) It tasted like the most ridiculously rich banana-pineapple-custard 8D If you have the means, I highly suggest it.
Each little fleshy section is practically all one can eat before feeling the richness D8 At least that's how I felt. Will definitely go back later tonight and have more. It almost feels like mochi~
Also finished a JSK I'd been working on last night. Mock up for a jsk I plan on making again in red or black velvet 8D Used some cotton I'd had lying around. Lined the bodice but ran out of fabric for lining the skirt. My main thing was just to make the jsk so a lining wasn't a big deal. Will probably be a loungewear/nightgown 8D
Drafted my first princess seamed bodice jsk. Used an AP dress for reference but lengthened/widened the bodice, skirt, and straps.
