better now. We've made up and all is well. I don't usually have a fight with my mum that lasts longer than 10 minutes or so. But, I won't have the cell phone with me tomorrow which is kind of annoying. But, I've also realised that I'm completely over thinking things and I need to get over myself and be a grown up and just go out like a normal fucking person, jesus. How'd I get so neurotic?
Also, the Monkeys are gonna be on SNL tonight which is of course pissing me off. Don't get me wrong, of course I never fooled myself that they were any kind of obscure or that they were super indie or any such thing. But I'm just frustrated that they've soared to success so quickly. It's especially shocking because even the other few indie bands who have appeared on SNL (Strokes, White Stripes, Death Cab, Franz) didn't do so before appearing on a number of other talk shows and touring this country loads of times and at least having a video on Subterranean first for christ's sakes! So yea, that's pretty weird actually.
