Still working my way through these. |D B-because unlike the rest of the bandwagon, I already had most of these written up ... ? Idk. ._.a
* Sharon's true age is something only the members of the Lainsworth House know. There are suspicions and rumors, but the fact that the young Lady Lainsworth hasn't really aged for years is an open secret, and people are discouraged from enquiring too deeply on her age.
* She contracted with Equus several years before the events of Oz's coming of age. How MANY years is uncertain.
* If you actually know what you're looking for, you can tell when Equus is lurking in your shadow, or close by. It's a different shade of black from everything else, and moves just a little too independantly.
* Related: Break is the only one who's actually good enough to consistently tell. Or maybe she just doesn't try as hard to conceal Equus around him. :)
* Her father was the second son of one of the other Houses, but a pale personality compared to his wife and mother-in-law. Sharon is politely friendly with her father, but he's more like a society associate than a parent.
* No matter where, when, or what, Sharon has an uncanny knack for finding tea. And by similiar magic, there is always a nice spread to go with the tea. :)
* The halisen is an evolution from the delicate lady's-fan she used to use. It was a birthday present from Break, and he is now its most frequent victim.
* This does not mean she won't use it on other people. She PREFERS to cajole and flatter and charm, but because she's so fast with it now, she can smack someone with it and immediately recover and be back to sweetness and smiles. Being tiny and cute is something she often uses to her advantage.
* As the young lady and heiress of the Lainsworth family, Sharon has certainly been courted before. These potential suitors are always very gently turned down, and if they persist, all manner of unfortunate things befall them. ... the worst was when the hunting hounds Break was supposed to be minding got loose and swarmed; Sharon miraculously escaped the incident without a scratch, but the young man ... well.
* Despite this, she's a terrible romantic. (Thank you, canon.) While she really is very adamant that her work comes first, in her girlish heart, she wouldn't say no to being swept off her feet and romanced~
* Her relationship with Equus is very -- I hesitate to call it "medieval," but: you know all those old tapestries and paintings of maidens who tame unicorns simply by their presence? This is a lot of how she works with Equus. It responds instinctively to her (which is actually a reason why she chose to form the contract when she was so young) and she's rather charmed by its form.
* Sharon cares less about the actual tragedy of Sabrie from a hundred years ago, and worries more about Break's involvement with it (and the Abyss).
* She's very stereotypically "girly" -- she loves frills and sweets and cute fuzzy things (which includes Miss Alice :)), and pink is her favorite color. ON THE OTHER HAND, she's quite good at chess, slaps (and wields her halisen) with enormous force (more than you'd expect, with how tiny she is) and blood no longer distresses her as much as it once did.
* Part of the reason she adores Alice as much as she does is because she really HAS always wanted a little sister. Or at least a close female friend. ... Miss Alice is also just very cute and funny when she sputters. :)
