I got two new icons! \o/ Jackson Rathbone is v sexy to me idc.

1. Beat It (Michael Jackson Cover) - Pierce the Veil

I love their cove of "Beat It" and the added little part of "The Way You Make Me Feel" at the beginning makes me love it even more.

Pierce the Veil is a band that I've been wanting to go see live. Even though in some of their songs they have a screamo feel, it's the singing that brings me back into the songs.

Fun fact: The lead singer Vic Fuentes and my friend Julian look so much alike it's creepy.

2. Be Better Prepared - Valencia

"To change the way that I believe
This story's old but not complete
I need that off-track set mind where everything is fine
If I'm ever gonna meet you on the other side

And I'll breathe you in tonight
I'll find my own way home
You know I'll be fine"

I just recently go into Valencia, but I think there music is very fun and catchy. This song is just a self-indulgent feel good one, not much more really. But a good song non-the-less.

3. Bigger Than Love - My Favorite Highway

"We've all got scars as big as ours
A token for the pain we hide inside of us
Everyone's scared that somebody knows
You push it aside, yeah that's how it goes
If you've ever heard a beating heart
A rhythm for the songs we're too afraid to sing
Nobody here is perfectly fine
A delicate frame, a fragile design

If there's a hole in your heart
You gotta pull it together
It takes the courage to start
But now is better than never
It takes a push and a shove
Somehow it's never enough
And its alarming how quickly we forget that

Nothing's bigger than love
Nothing's bigger than love
Nothing's bigger than love
All you need, all you need, all you need is love"

Obvious Beatles influence in the lyrics, but this really is an amazing song. Most of this band's songs are. There is something very soothing about this singer's voice that makes you fall in love with it.

But to me these lyrics, while they may be Beatle-ish, are still brilliant.

Don't forget xx = tt!
