it's a blustery morning.
i've been up for hours.
origins and insertions is my game these days.
i can name any bone in the body.
and most of the muscles,
now i'm learning where each one begins and ends, what it does and whatnot.
you know, learning this stuff gives me such a sense of awe, i wish i had time to really focus on each individual thing i'm learning.
i'm writing a paper on mystics in the sciences, and it's kind of kicking my ass.
haven't put 15 pages together on anything organized before.
it's really satisfying though,
connecting gallileo and ken wilbur, my friend julia and the ancient tcm dude, the yellow emperor. good stuff indeed.
it has been a long semester, just thinking about all of the things i've learned,
not to mention all of the things i've done...
meeting paul unschuld, having my favorite teacher invite jenn and i to xmas with her freaky pagan family including 2 teenage daughters that love their parents... now that's something i want to learn from her.
it's been a wild ride, and feeling like i've had to let go of all social ties has been really weird but, the people who make an effort, do and those who don't, don't and in 3(+a little) years when i'm done i'll have a little more time to spend going to dinner and brunches and keeping up on the everchanging everything of peoples days, in the meantime i give free massages on mondays and fridays at my house.
and once in a while i actually make a public appearance someplace other than the library.
it's so windy outside,
i think i'm finally ready to go back to bed.
