don't ever hire starving artist movers. it's a great concept but, after hiring 3 different moving companies in my life and being moderately unimpressed with each of them i have to say that this harrowing experience has left me a. broke, b. with wounded furniture, and most of all c. with dashed hopes that there could be a way to support the arts/artists even outside the arts. they were almost 2 hours late and one guy upon arrival asked "can i borrow a pair of socks?" you can imagine how the rest of the day went.
2. the new house is amazing. i want everyone to come over and sit in rooms that haven't yet had anyone sit in them.
3. what color should we paint our bathroom? white simply won't do.
4. if you want to grill this weekend sun/mon i suspect we'll have a couple opportunities and since the landladies are away we have a back yard!
