cupcakes coffee camping
i woke to dreams of all three.
mintwaster+cocoalola made these really fancy designer cupcakes with the best frosting in really excellent colors. i was making coffee and we were gathering supplies etc. for camping. good dream.
i worked in the clinic yesterday for 12 hours.
it was insane and i loved it.
i got to do two intake interviews and lots of different treatment strategies, though it was really intense, 5 of the 6 patients we saw were survivors of childhood abuse of one form or another. i've been reading all about different traditional chinese medical concepts of trauma and relating it to my experience with ptsd and i'm feeling really blown away by it.
i can't wait to have my own clinic shift.
i can't wait to have my own office.
i think about it all the time.
it seems so far away.

i have to laugh.
and smile.
