It's been over the past.. year and a half or so. I was pretty hardcore, and I still love animals and would never intentionally hurt one, but, well, I really like meat! hahaaha

I do LOVE food! But I also like healthy food too... Like tonight I made carrot lemon coconut soup, and while coconut is high fat, the 2 cups of carrots make up for it! And it was only like 7oz of coconut milk. :)

i love food too, especially fresh produce. yummm
my family and friends are always telling me to go to culinary school or something of that nature. i was even offered a swanky apprenticeship under a pastry chef. which i may do actually when the bebe gets a bit older. for now i am mama first, everything else second. but yeah, the whole experience of food is aesthetically pleasing to me. i love to shop for great produce at farmer's markets and roadside stands. and getting meat fresh from the butcher, and fresh seafood from the pier...bread from the bakery. there is something so domestically innate in me when it comes to matters of food. preparing it with things i have hand picked, spicing and embellishing and serving the perfect meal to people you love. it is all about the love baby. ^-^

I just make my rice on the stove... I used to have a rice cooker, it was kind of cheap and I didn't really like using it, half the rice would always stick to the bottom.
