(no subject)
I found my dad a good father's day present, some barbecue stuff and a book about Haight Ashbury and the summer of love (my dad was a big LSD freak in the seventies, so he will probably think the book is really cool). I also got some seeds so I am going to plant sunflowers and swiss chard. I don't have any money but they were only a dollar. I also got a really cheesy birthday card for Curtis!
I'm looking forward to going out tonight, but I really don't feel like getting dressed up, so I don't think I will. My dad bought some beer so I am drinking that while I get ready, and listening to country music :)
I hope they play some really good music at Gios tonight like they did on Womyn's night. Such as Islands in the Stream...
My hair is feeling a little fried from alll the bleach, i'm sad about that. Hopefully it's manageable or I might get her to dye over it on wednesday. I'll condition it lots before then and hopefully that will help.
Well I guess I'd better get ready to go out. I would like to go with my mum and dad to visit my grandfather's grave tomorrow but I don't think I will be home in time. That sucks, I will have to go sometime soon.
EDIT: I think my mum is going to plant some of the sunflowers at my grandfather's grave tomorrow, then we will go back in a couple of months and see if they have grown at all :)
