Nine Inch Nails was incredible. Seeing Trent Reznor in person after all those adolescent girl fantasies was a dream come true. He used to look better. But the music. Dear god the music. Perfection. Best concert I have ever been to.

Also I couldn't have been more wrong about Cuba. From the moment I stepped off the plane in the Varadero to drinking beer on the bus while going back to the airport, the whole trip was wonderful. It was about 35 celcius with the humidity every day. So much fun, swimming with dolphins, snorkeling in the middle of the ocean, catamaran tour, going to Havana, and we got a local to take us to a real Cuban bar off the resort. Leaving the resort to see the real Cuba was culture shock, i've never seen poverty like that before. They make (the people who work in the resorts) about $15 convertible Cuban pesos a MONTH, which is about $20 canadian. Most people in Cuba make less than this. It doesn't make me appreciate what I have, surprisingly. I went to this country, and I saw these people who have next to nothing and somehow I found myself almost jealous of them. Never in my life have I met people like this before. They're happy. Always smiling and laughing. They take nothing for granted. The lifestyle is totally different, and I fell in love with it all. The resort that we stayed in wasn't that great, but I want to go back to it. All of you who are able to should.

I took about 400 pictures. Unfortunately I can't post any of them, because on the last night my camera went 'missing'. There are people still there this week that I know, and I became quite close with the bartender so I'm hoping that it will turn up somewhere. All Inclusive means free alcohol 24 hours a day. I have never drank so much in my entire life. I swear, I beat the summer's record by 100.

This weather fucking sucks. I hate it so much, it's making me really depressed.
