first lines 2008
I figured I haven't written in a while and what better time then New Years. I actually had to work on News Years eve... until 1 am... just like I worked 10 hours on Christmas day. [Valentine’s Day] Kevin got his boss to fly me out for free to visit him in Barbados for 5 days! yeahhhhhh! [Europe backpacking trip: March-May] So, I am going to try and make one post per country just so everyone can get a feel for my stay per place. We took an overnight ferry from Ancona, Italy to Patras, greece and then took a series of trains to Athens. It's tricky to get a Duchie's panties in a knot! My last day in Paris I ate pot cake and rode roller-coasters in Disneyland Paris. While I was in Europe, I stumbled upon a very neat website called jen365.blogspot.com Kevin and I took a trip to Detroit Lake and it was my FIRST TIME GETTING ON A JETSKI. As a D.I.Y. crafter, I have tons of nice yarn in my collection that isn't being used. I was watching disc 1 of "My So Called Life" and thinking about how I was in middle school. I don't know who actually reads their LJ friends page, but I thought I would give a mini update. I am working two part-time jobs now: YMCA and Borders. Wow, what a whirlwind stop-at-home trip by Kevin.
