Spent two days, one night in Victoria, B.C. with Kevin and it was fantastic! We took the Victoria Clipper boat over and ate the complimentary breakfast on board. I was a little nervous about getting seasick but I took some dramamine and I was fine. We arrived and checked in to the Marriott and walked around the city. We ate at Il Terrazo, great food. But I had a fight with the rabbit entree that I ordered-- it was literarily half a bunny covered in risotto. When I pulled out a leg and, kiddingly, made it kick with my knife and fork, I immediatley lost my appetitie and I was a little queasy for the rest of the evening. Now I know I don't like bunny- I will never order that again. I guess that is what I get for eating in dark romantic restaurants :P Kevin loved his steak though, so all was not lost. We did some Steeple chasing to photograph some of the older churches and we walked around the Parliment building.
On our trip back, we bought 5 bottles of duty free alcohol and when we got back to my place, Katherine, Kevin and I got trashed and Katherine threw up in my big stew pot and I was trying to pass out on the toilet but I couldn't throw up... and pretty much it was a comedy of errors but it made still for a fun time. Kinda makes me ill looking at my bottle of Jose Cuervo sitting on my counter (burp).
I got to go to work tomorrow at 2:15 so at least I get to sleep in again tomorrow.
On a side note, Kevin passed music history and I am so proud of him. He is totally on track to graduate this spring and I am so happy he is so dedicated and keeps his goals. That was the one thing keeping us from 100% confirming Portland, but now we are completely on board to move there. So, Cheers!
