drawing class

I signed up for a class at Bellevue Community College Continuing Education department called "Drawing in Color" We get to work with pastels, colored pencils and other non-wet mediums. I'm really excited. It's once a week for 3 hours a night and that should be something to give me a project to work on for the rest of the week. It's 8 classes beginning in mid-January. Yippeee!

For all those who celebrate the NEW year, I hope you have a good one. I am closing at Starbucks that night so I will probabley just go over to Katherine's parent's house with them and watch movies or play games until the "ball drops" in NYC. Damn, I wish I could have been there for that... oh well, another year for sure! Next year my big trip is to go to England for Nadine's wedding. But so far I haven't gotten an invitiation, so who knows. I know I should plan a trip to Costa Rica too, but that would have to be after Kevin and I do Europe for 3 months. All my money is going to that. I will be in Costa Rica with in the next two years... or sooner if Rebecca plans to leave.

Spending lots of my free time playing World of Warcraft. I vowed today that I would work a little bit on my knitting project: fuzzy monster slippers, but my motivation to do is it tonight is dwindling. If I watch any TV I will :)

As for my attempts at getting more busy, I am taking advantage of a free exercise week at North Kirkland Community Center. They want people to register for classes, so you get one free sample class. I may decide to sign up for the yoga one if I really like it. It's really cheap like $30 or less for 8 weeks. That seems super cheap compared to what I would pay to exercise in NY.
