Saturday afternoon
Long time no talk to. Katherine and I have finally gotten internet in our apartment here in Kirkland. It's nice to feel linked to everyone again. Oregon play Arizona today and unfourtunatley they don't televise it up here--poop! I have on my duck colors and everything. Running errands mostly today. I work at Starbucks tomorrow. I got a job there

first of all, there's nothing wrong with having a 'non-career' job for a while, its a lot better than just doing nothing because you get paid at least! besides starbucks is one of the better of these jobs and how they treat employees and the perks and such. plus you get benefits. plus while having this job you can always be searching for the best big thing at the same time!
i'm glad that you guys finally have internet and are starting to make your place feel like home, i can't wait to see it, hopefully sometime we can make something work out, i don't want to be in imposition if you guys were busy or something if i was to come up.
i personally have never really read cookbooks myself, but i do find them fantasicingly awesome, i should try to cook someday, grilled cheese may not be the only thing i make someday :) my grandpa also just loves to read cookbooks. he'll pretty much only read louis l'amour books and cookbooks, which is kinda funny coming from him. i guess he does like to cook though, margaret once said that if he could just cook all the time in his campside dutch oven he would...thinking about cookbooks is making me hungry, maybe i should've eaten more for lunch!
