1. In all the Muggle tales I can think of, people either are a team to begin with or join up together in steps along the way after being useful to or saved by an original hero. Here we have a very different sense of reaching out to collaborate. This makes sense because that is the sort of idea both Beedle and Jo would want to put forward, while I don't think it was so much on traditional fairy-tale writers' minds.
3. Did you really think the Fountain was about improving your own life? To me it was more like realizing the good that was already there, which is kind of also what happened in The Wizard. They're all searching for parts of them they already have, but haven't seen, instead focusing on the negative.
4. Well, since Beedle wasn't even mentioned until the last book, I just sort of guess that there is a lot more going on un-mentioned. We know what appeals to Harry and Ron, and neither one of them shows any inclination to curl up wit a good book, or sit still for a movie. But they still might be there. Also, wizarding life seems so zany that who needs made-up tales?
5. I guess anyone who's into Magical Creatures, which are roundly dangerous, is asking for it? Sort of like asking what it is with Quidditch players and accidents. They're drawn to the sport because they're drawn to risk.
6. Well, the other story I think it hinted they would have banned, but the kids couldn't forget the pot. No crazy hopping pot here to require their creative energies?
