Inky Day
It's the morning after Mantra, and I've had about 6 hours sleep, if that. I had THE best time, and will be going back time and time again. First things first- I got tattooed by Jo Harrison! Awesome. She's gorgeous and a complete sweetheart. She only charged me for an hour for a piece that took 2, and I felt really bad! But, I'm gonna go up there later in the year and have a matching rose on my other wrist. Ii was looking at it when I was getting inked, and thought, 'I want a different coloured one on my other wrist!' So that is what I intend to do. Gotta get it touched up anyway.
I'm so in love with my new tattoo. It's like seeing an amazing piece in a magazine and wishing that you had something that cool, but actually having that on your arm. I have to say I really enjoyed being watched by everyone. Wasn't so keen on people taking pictures of my other tatts tho. I'm kinda hoping that my new one won't be in a magazine, cause I don't want people to copy it. It's really special to me, for reasons I won't divulge. They're none of your business.
Mantra is awesome. I got a new belt buckle, some rum I'm never opening (Sailor Jerry - WOOHOO) 2 t-shirts and 2 rings. The lizardman was there, and Manda came to see me, as did Al. Jo H said my tattoo was her favourite rose she'd ever done. That made me so happy.
I'm feeling really happy right now. I feel calling people baby may be due for a comeback.
