playoffs are heeeeeeeeeeere!!
suns won their first game against the lakers today, and the pistons are playing the bucks as i type this (and winning). woooo hooo!
also forgot how excited i get while watching hockey playoffs. red wings won friday but lost today. gah! with hockey and basketball at the same time, i'm pretty much going nuts.
only one more final to go. then i'll be home for good this wednesday.
chelsea is gone and my dorm is so looooooonely!
hmmm...watched "platoon" the other day and it was quite good. i have a whole list of vietnam war movies to see (already rented "full metal jacket" a while back- i must say, stanley kubrick is awesome at getting his actors to be REALLY creepy...see jack nicholson in "the shining," the guy in "a clockwork orange," and vincent d'onofrio in this one).
OH! death cab for cutie and franz ferdinand show on tuesday!!! went with caitlin and it was pretty awesome. franz ferdinand always put on a great show and alex kapranos is just so hot. and then death cab. their music just makes me say "awww" and they are so that's no exception live. ending with "transatlanticism" was perfect.
