ughh my lower back hurts
but thanksgiving break was awesome! i ate myself into a food coma pretty much every day. mmmm mmmm good. thanksgiving is the best holiday ever.
i did a few relevent things over break. shopped. saw leigh and heather and alicia and danielle (too few, i needed to see others but it just didn't happen). i shopped. i saw "war of the worlds" and i liked it. tom cruise didn't annoy me that much. i saw "harry potter and the goblet of fire" finally and it was great. soon ron and harry will no longer be jailbait :) and i saw "rent" and i got into it. mark was my favorite character. i am possibly going to be dorky and get the soundtrack.
i've finished some books for my english class. "the painted bird" by jerzy kosinski: awesome. "ragtime" by e.l. doctorow: okay. "the white hotel" by d.m. thomas: quite good.
i don't like being in ann arbor around christmastime. because this time is about traditions and my family has so many (hanging up the lights, setting up the dickens village in the family room, etc.) that it just really bothers me to not be home with them when christmastime comes around. plus school is getting annoying and i don't want to do anything anymore. and i think i'm getting sick. god i'm in such a haze right now. a lethargic, depressive haze.
damn 4 page paper due tomorrow, haven't started it as usual. let's call this lj update a warm-up for that. get those fingers tappin.
