Got the job!
Great! So I got the job at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. I'm pretty stoked.
I'll be part of a fire crew that does research on the types of vegetation that come back after a fire. My boss says there will be opportunities to do wildland fire fighting. There is HUGE money in this... and as you all know, I'm moving to another hemisphere and extra cash would be nice. The one down side to this is I have to pass the pack test.
What is the pack test? The pack test is a 3 mile hike with a 45lbs vest that must be done in under 45 minutes. It sounds easy at first... it is fucking hard. I failed it last year. I like to think I failed it because I didn't train and I was 6000ft above sea level. I really don't want to fail it this year and it is in my best interest to be in good shape if I'm fighting wildland fires. God forbid I ever have to eat an MRE though.

I want to obtain a ps2, copies of DDR games, a memory card, and a dance pad. If you know anyone that is giving away/selling/ or willing to rent these things out to me for a reasonable price CONTACT ME. I need to start this work out business like last month. I also have items to trade like a big TV and other assorted goodies that won't be coming to Brazil with me.
Also I will be doing biking trips on the weekends. If you have interest in this please contact me. Biking by yourself is not nearly as fun as doing it in groups. There's a great trail out here and lots all over GR. I have a bike rack for my car so transporting your transport should be simple.
