I don't really like phone conversations. Most of the time they always seem to leave me a little bit more anxious, a little bit less happy, or a little more sad whenever I hang up. I like being face to face with a person so I can see their expressions and their body language, or even actually hear what the other person is saying (sometimes the loudest volume on my cell phone isn't loud enough). Silences on telephones are also more uncomfortable, actually being with a person and not constantly talking is normal, when you're on the phone with a person extended silences are awkward. Maybe I just read more into phone conversations, because I have no visual cues to interpret. But sometimes the phone is the best way we have to communicate, and I'd rather have that than nothing at all.

I saw Defiance, Ohio for the first time live tonight, I enjoyed it. They're much better live than they are recorded.

For class I am going to make a bra out of metal for my "cup" assignment.
