Random Thoughts...
Ok, I haven't watched anything Rock on MTV2 in the past few weeks, so I'm trying to be updated on the new videos and whatnot. I swear they switch the weekly hour shows all the time. One day it's on at 11, the next day it's 8 in the morning. They're all fucked up.
So I'm pissed b/c they had some stupid rap thing on which leaked into the Rock Countdown time. They can always have the rap shit cut the rock stuff out, but when it comes to the rock, they'd cut it off in a second for Rap or any other stupid shit they have. I mean, Rap apparently needs more than a whole day. It gets a full day, but pretty much that's all the channel is anymore.
That's reason #1. Reason #2...Wasn't it a 2 hour thing? Now it's only an hour on Saturdays? So they started late, started at #10, AND you know when they cut down 1 video for time, well they did it with 2 videos this week. One was the Foo Fighters' DOA video, which was fine, but they cut down Avenged Sevenfold. What's that garbage? Man, FUCK MTV! They fucking suck. The Rock Countdown is the only thing I watch on the damn channel. Whether it be MTV or MTV2, they both suck ass. I can't believe they're still playing TRL too. Bullshit. Oh and don't even get me started on those nasty ass peoples faces they blow up on the screen. Ewww. Plus the bar credit things in the middle of the damn screen before and after the song. That's annoying as shit.
No to be a weird hypocrite or something, I did find the new Korn video extremely amusing though. They fucking had Snoop Dogg playing Munky! Oh My Jebus it was so funny! Then they had Lil Jon play as Jonathon Davis. They should have put Ludacris in it. THEN it would have been super awesome. And the best part! Jonathon Davis and the rest of the band come in at the end and are music producer label people and he goes "No, it's not gonna fly. This sucks. Rock is Dead." and all this other shit. BUT THEN he goes "We need some booty shaking in there!" OH MY JEBUS I cracked up! Oh it was great.
*sigh* okie dokie, I apologize about the stupid rants, but one more thing. Have they ever released the latest video from The Used? Cuz I don't think they did. That's highly upsetting. So maybe my next post will be worth reading, and maybe it will be something of somewhat importance. :)
By the way, you're welcome fallen_fizzgig for your gift. Glad I could make your morning. I also love getting packages and other things with my name on the mail, hah. I don't think that Franklin Mills is playing Shop Girl!!! I'm very pissed about that. Although Neshaminy is playing it. We'll have to talk on Monday night to see what we want to do. Harry Potter comes out this weekend I think, but I'm going to see that sometime in December when the theaters are not so packed! Walk The Line came out this weekend too! I wanna see that.
Oh yea. P.S.- I found and downloaded a Christmas song by My Chemical Romance. It's their version of "All I Want For Christmas Is You." I can't help but laugh when I hear Gerard singing it. I Love him and it sounds good, but for some reason it's kind of really odd to imagine him singing it.
