:) I spoke with a new agent today. Who happens to work for another century 21 office here in town. He was referred to me by the other nurse I work with. Spoke to him at about 1pm today. He emailed me links to some houses. we picked two houses that we just loved from the pictures. Went and looked at the first one tonight at 630pm. We just loved the house. Nice big back yard, already fenced. The major areas of the house are ceramic tile... new kitchen counters/cabinets, new paint. New carpets in the bedrooms. The bedrooms were fairly decent in size. Fireplace.
The second house we looked at, different floor plan, bedrooms a little smaller. same size back yard. older carpet & appliances, and it was $5,000 more then the other.
We told this agent EVERYTHING that happened. He was great. He couldn't believe what we went through with the other house. He's going to take care of everything for us, with terminating our selling contract with our old agent, and making sure everything goes smooth with the termination contract with the other house. He also told us about a program that our bank does that we weren't told about. Which is great. so he's going to refer us back to our bank, who them will refer us back to him, and it will give us a chance to get more money back from the bank! :) And our bank also has a thing going on right now, where if we close within a certain amount of time, we can get up to $2,000 back, which we kind of knew about that, but not everything.
So, he is going to meet with hubby tomorrow (he's off because he has to move evrything out of this house into a storage or something). Then he will come meet me at my work during my break, to sign a contract...
We put in an offer on the first house we saw. We just absoulty fell in love with it! I love it!!
Our friend is going to let us stay with him. He's got 3 pugs.. I posted pics of their pugs. (Mooshu, Guiness & there new baby Lola)... Just one thing, is they have to be crated while we're gone. My pugs have never been crated before, but hopefully they won't have to be crated for too long... But i'm just glad that we have a place to stay. And my asshole boss won't let me have tomorrow off to help my husband move, so he's trying to call marines that he works with to see if they will help him out tomorrow. Well we don't even have a storage yet... but it will work out!
