and so this is how it feels..to go to STATE....
nervous, almost peed my pants.!! Then, the gun, jump around to get warm, then I am up second, exhilarating, scary, nervous again, then I am off, I run pass 2 girls, still strong, Keep going I tell myslef, "its your race!", around the corner last 200 meters to go, I get boxed in.. then I am like OH Hell no.. I go behind, then I get them right away, this is OUR race, WE are going to state, Pass 2 more, put us in second, dead tired, pass the baton successfully. I am done with my part, I did my best, and now its up to the other two.
We made it and I am so happy..
They expect over 15,000 spectators next friday and I know that we qualified for state. and thats awesome.
