(no subject)
Just got back today from traveling to NJ to meet my new nephew. It was a great trip and Philip is the cutest baby! Thursday night I got to meet him inbetween feeding and pooping. i got to hold him for a bit too...and he fell asleep on me :)
Friday we had an early morning because we had followed saul and sarah to the locate of the bris/party in brooklyn. we get there and they do the bris....it was done a bacu palace (russian resturaunt) and once phil was snipped we celebrated with tons of food, a russian band, and endless amounts of liqour. the bris was at 11 and we left the celebration her family threw at around 3:30 cause i was exhausted.
Saturday I met up with my cousin and fiance and the friends that they were staying with in NYC....besides freaking out because it was the first time i traveled in the city alone it was fun. we went to the bodies exhibit at fulton market and then went by the seaside to watch some street performers. after we decided to head to little italy for dinner. from there it got interesting. I knew what train would take me to where i needed to go, but it was on the opposite end of canal street....so a 20 minute escapade including going int he wrong direction i got on my train to head back to penn station to head to the fairy to take me back to NJ, i finally got home around 11....exhausted!
Today we woke up, saw phil one more time before we left and than we headed to the airport. it was a great trip and i got to meet my handsome nephew and godson. yep...im his godmother too!
anyways...need to unpack and prepare for the week ahead.
