obama black
okies. here's some thoughts
- yes obama is black and yes he will be the new president of USA. what's that got to do with the price of cheese/the way he will run the country?
are we still so blinded by the colour of our skin that the fact that he is black is THAT much of a big deal?
he is still human, a politician, blah blah. whoop.
- my fingers are blistering with the new found love/obsession of the ukulele. and yes kids, its spelt with a U! XD
i LOVE doing ukulele covers of angry angst songs, oh so hawaiian and jolly! i heart it so!
i can make "Under the Bridge" sound like a sunday school sing-a-long.
my next conquest is to do the same for "Between Angels and Insects" by Papa Roach. i have a good feeling about this one.
- having a giant slumber party and cheese fest tomorrow. i've got all the girls coming around from uni and everyone is bringing a different type of cheese. its going to be artery clogging fun!
- new tea! made of liquerish and peppermint. both of which i HATE. however, when these two meet in harmony it creates something amazing! the most amazing part of it is, that AFTER you swallow, your mouth fills with the taste of SWEETNESS even though there is no sugar/sweeteners whatsoever! THIS is truly nectar of the gods.
- i want to bake a honey glazed ham in the near future
- i am so excited about auchi! i made the pattern for the body last night. it was done completely freestyle! XD no pattern, just drawing up according to my measurements and the design. gonna sew up a toire tomorrow and hope it looks ok before i hack into fur.
also, i read on the forums that the cosplay ball will be formal dress! (or full cosplay) i hope (time allowing) to make some tux cuffs and bow tie for Pedobear to be dressed in style! huzzar!
