I first rehearsal for Xerxes was yesterday. It's not that bad. The cast is small since it's an opera. 4 girls, 3 guys. I don't do much except work stage left and run and get costume pieces that are lost or in the dressing room. There is a 3 minute quick change which I have to do towards the end, and then a 45 second quick change after the 2nd intermission.
It pays well, and all the guys are cute.
But I have no idea what they're saying at all, since it's an opera.
