I should have checked this out before...once DH was released. I am lame. Anyway, I went to J.K. Rowling's site randomly today after not seeing it for nearly a year and went to the secret doorway, which I found open. I clicked on the Dark Mark, only to discover a family tree. I love how the Weasleys are now linked with almost everyone. But take a closer look:
Except for Draco and Luna, everyone else is practically family. Go figure. And umm...the names. There juniors of people. Not very original. Borrrring. Though, when I think of George's children...understandable. Fred in memory of his twin. And Roxanne makes me think of El Tango de Roxanne from Moulin Rouge. Yay. But what I hate? Harry and Ginny's children's names. ALL NAMED AFTER OTHER PEOPLE. Geesh. Even Hermione and Ron managed to choose unused names...even though they could have done better. Ewww. And yes, same with Astoria and Draco...Scorpius is still a horrible name but it's not named after people he knows. Someone must have drugged those Potters. I actually approve of Luna and Rolf...whoever that bloke is. Their children actually have decent names. Lysander is kind of nice. Lorcan...well, I guess decent for her son.
Oh, and Charlie is cool. Because he was a bachelor! Woot!
UMMM. AND error! I thought Fred died in 1998, not 1997. I even checked the timeline in the Lexicon, since I had to make some time references in one of my first post-DH fics I have written. This says that Remus, Tonks, Colin and Fred died on May 2nd of 1998. BOOO. Okay. I'm done venting.
