Friends, I have a request.
As most of you know, my boyfriend is in the best local band in D-town. A while back they requested to play 10,000 Lakes Music Festival in MN. As it turns out, many bands wanted to play, more than 300 actually. Well, they narrowed it down to 30, of which they will select 3. Friends of the Family (the band, for those of you that didn't know) made the cut and are in the top 30. For the next few weeks they are letting people vote on which 3 to select, that's where you come in. To see them play an amazing fest like 10k Lakes would be HUGE!!! Please consider, for me, taking a minute to vote for them. It only takes a minute and it would be an amazing addition to their already impressive resume. This is really a big deal for them and in turn, for me. Here's what I'm asking you to do:

- Follow the drop-down menu under "music" , "cosmic break", "voting booth"
- You will be asked to create an account with a username
- YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE JUNK EMAIL-UNCHECK THE BOX!
- When you finish, go and vote! The name of the band is Friends of the Family.
- After you've voted, an email will be sent with a link to follow. DON'T FORGET TO DO THIS! Your vote won't count otherwise.
