Good news people! I am not dead.
I'm sorry I worried you all- I didn't mean to. As weird as it might sound, I didn't think it would be noticed. Which, in retrospect, is dumb, but the concern in my inbox did surprise me.
Uh, not going to get too personal at this time, but I want to thank everyone who expressed worry about me, and messaged me, I am sincerely touched by your concern, while also knowing you all are just worried about the new chapter. YES, I AM ON TO YOU! Although, in all seriousness, thank you for inquiring (Dysolde, I tried to write you back but it wouldn't let me because of privacy settings, so thank you too!)
And no, I am not dropping the fic. I just was unable to write it. But, it is not dropped, it still lives. I actually don't have a date set for the nextchapter, so I will update you as things unfold, and let you know when to expect...what chapter are we on? 9? 10? 11,000? Somewhere in there (Yes, I am too lazy to go look up exactly what chapter it is. I know what happens in it and where I am in the story, I just don't remember the number) But, first, I have to finish making a birthday present for someone, so that takes precedence. After that, the chapter will get my full attention.
Uh. Yeah. So, not dead, chapter coming.... Yeah, other than that, I apologize to you all for my unexpected not-hereness. And I'm sorry the update took, you know, months. I am very embarrassed and shame-faced about that, and I'm sorry I haven't been able to turn it out. With any luck, things will return to normal, I hope? Maybe?
