so here's the latest news:
*on friday my car died. yep, she's gone. o well- time for a new one, im not good with the long-term anyhow, right??? ;)
*so after my car died, i went shopping with shei. it was fun- i got springy stuff but felt some separation issues from the lost of my taurus... it was all good tho because i got a new job!
*yep, thats right. now im a bookseller/ cafe server [those are the technical terms for it] at barnes and noble. however, while reading in the cafe somebody from work came in and caught me, and by work i mean dunkins. haha ooops. it happens. but everybody there is sooo nice and i love it already!
*i had no minutes left on my cell phone when i had to call my parents for a ride home [dead car, dammit] so i sent aubs a text asking her to call them. so i told jim about this [who was also working] and he made fun of me for not using the store phone. ok, i did not know i could use it! hmmm o well.
*saturday i went to the movies with aubree and we saw "guess who" it was good- but all kinds of guys were there on dates w their dads- it was a little weird. then we had to wait for my parents to come pick us up. no car= MAJOR inconvenience. i felt like i was 13 again...
*i had to work at 6. i worked with alex, which wasnt bad at all- i was so excited when kait and jimmy b came and visited me! twice! haha- justine and her cousin came in too, so i had nice visitors. :) but my mom had to pick me up at 10. eeeew i hate being dependent upon other people.
*this morning i worked at 7. it was super busy. and we were getting mad at all the idiots that dont know how to order. well, at least i was. then i got picked up at 1. blah
lesson of the weekend? dont take the taurus for granted. no matter how much i loathed it, it was my car. and it gave me independence. now its in the pick parking garage in the sky....
i have to work tomorrow too! yay b&n! but i have to change at school then my mom is picking me up. wow that sucks huh? i miss my car....
