needle-mania
i decided at eleven o'clock last night that my room needed to be reconfigured. i don't know why the thought hit me so late on a school night, but i'm hardly one to ignore my inspiration [or my otherwise freakish obsessive-compulsion]. i have unfortunately weighted furniture as well, and since my dad decided to rip up the carpet while i was away over the summer, you can imagine some of the lovely sounds that reverberated upon my five-three frame pushing a bed across the room.
i really didn't feel like getting back into the routine again after such a lazy weekend, but i managed. i don't know why i bother going to class when all i do is draw pictures in my notebook and zone out with a book in front of my face. i have three papers to write in humanities in the next two weeks, and i have to work on contacting a geologist for my earth science project. ehhhh. at least photo was okay. blaire took pictures of me and kate for the newspaper, and we looked pretty cute. i decided against a photo shoot this week and decided to stick with my original shots. i got a new roll of tri-x though, just for kicks. maybe i'll do something exciting this weekend to require the use of said film. god, this weekend is my birthday.
speaking of which, has anybody got any piercing stories for me? i'm deadset on getting my lip done [re: not labret], and i did some research, but i'd really like to hear some experiences, for personal reference. or, if you live in the greater phoenix or bay area(s), could you recommend a good place? i hate to be snotty, but a lot of places on mill here are pretty creepy. i don't want any part of my face being badly infected, and i want to go to a professional [none of this friend of a friend bullshit, unless your friend is a professional] with a decent portfolio. i'd really like to get it done before i leave for san fran [october 13-18th], but i know there's a greater selection in the bay area. so yeah. if you could just tell me about some of your piercings and what they were like and what i should watch out for, that would be rad.
i hate it when people take you off their friends lists because you're "boring". goddamn, i mean i don't care if you take me off your list, but don't tell me it's because i'm boring, jackass.
