I don't think i've been able to relate to so many songs before now. This is for Emily, Randy, and Brian Frost. How is it that Emily are in two different situations yet we relate so much? Maybe it is because we were both screwed over by the two most meaningful people in our lives. Here is are the stories

It is just hard to give up, but you do make a good point.....we are better off without them Emily! it just seems no matter how many times i say that i will still feel the same.

well life becomes simple if you can realise you are you no matter if they are there by your side or not, you cant let them pull you down because they are unable to accept how things turn out in life. just know that you need to be the person you want to be, the ideal amy or the ideal emily is who you should strive to be, because when it comes down to it most the people you know in high school will not be there when you need them most, when you get arrested they will bail on you to stay out of trouble, when you get married how many of your high school friends will you actually talk to everyday, once a week, once a month even, or how many will you just have in a book of memories. because when all that happens you come to realise that you depending on them so much just to learn that you are still you with or without them.

that is true, you will always be you. also though we aren't thinking about what we'll all be like when we get married...we're thinking about what we're like now and what we want now because this is what matters and what makes our lives what they are. i hope that we will still be friends when we're all getting married but people do go their separate ways and that is something i cant control no matter how much i want to. amy and i just want something so simple yet so complicated for some people
