Girl Day
Today is girl day!
I had dimsum with Cecile mom, then Goldie came over then Marie came over and we had so much fun.
I have been unable to work and focus, and even as they have left I am on LJ procrastinating even if I have to make a wedding dress.
Its hard to get back into work mode when I've been in 'hanging out mode' for the past 2 weeks. I love having a semi life back with my closest friends.
I think it is so amazing to be able to reconnect.
I have been so busy that I have not been able to connect with my friends.
It has been so long since I spent time with Cecile and even if it was a sad day for her it made me happy to just be with her like old days and pay bills. Except before we didnt have gc treats only pepper lunch and caesar salad treats haha.
These past two weeks have been all about Goldie and she brightens up my day each day.
I think about my friends now, who I love so much.
And they are friends I have always had, but have been too busy to realize I had them, and too busy to give them time, or to even know whether or not they needed me. I am sorry for my absence, or my insensitivity, I am sorry I was so busy.
But I am grateful for this day, and the knowledge that old friends are true friends and are just a phone call away. I feel blessed.
