Rollin' like a celebrity
Yesterday I met my friend Renee and we went to Country Club Plaza. (or "The Plaza" to those in the know. *haughty look over her sunglasses*) It was so cool! The architecture of the place is authentic 1920's styled palazzo stuff. Reminiscent of Sunset Boulevard, you know, the stucco medditerranian spanish style stuff. Anyhow, there are fountains EVERYWHERE, and so much shopping I pretty much drooled the whole time. No, literally. You think I'm kidding, don't you? My you're cute. ;-) We had a blast pounding the pavement, and our girls just loved each other. Her daughter Gwyn and Brianna and Leigha were all holding hands in the car on the way back! So cute. I can't wait to go back there and buy something wickedly hot to wear, hee hee. Anyhow, today Jason and I went on an exploratory drive and discovered the coolest park in the world, Wyandotte Lake Park. There's a lake there (duh) and you drive around it and there's all these mysterious trees hanging over the road, and there are about 20 picnic/playground equipment shelters sprinkled along the road. It would be a really cool place to take the kids sometime...Can't wait!
Oh, and Brianna stood up by herself for 10 seconds yesterday. My baby's growing up! *sniff*
