Hey hey! I've got tickets to sell for Funtasia@NJC which is the annual food and fun fair on the 19th of July so...please come, get the tickets from me and spare me the torture of having to go around begging people to buy. *hehe* Yes...it can be a burden. Well if anyone wants tickets sms me or just leave a comment. Spread the word. Merci beaucoup.
I was rushing through my econs tutorial after discovering that it was due by 1pm tomorrow. Earlier on I watched a bit of this Japanese movie-yup it was my first time ever watching a Japanese movie. *lol* It was on cable and it's called 'Story of a Man'-about this guy from some secret society who rediscovers life with his son and his former girlfriend after contracting Lou Gehrig's disease and learning that he's got two months left to live. Really touching stuff.
This evening I finished reading 'Daddy's Little Girl' and it's good! Much shorter than what Mary Higgins Clark usually writes but enjoyable nonetheless.
I wish we'd May Day on Friday and then get a three day weekend instead. It's dreadful really, to have Thursday as a holiday and then having to go back to school on Friday. My mother took Friday off to have four days break but she's got to go back to work cuz the university's having their exams and she's on exam duty.
I've been catching up on TV thanks to the repaired VCR. The final episode of Felicity made me cry-sigh I will miss that show but I'll have to go search around for the DVDs. Watched some Smallville and Buffy too. My mother disapproves of Buffy cuz she thinks it's all dark and bad, wth.
Geez...how long was it when I started watching Felicity? I know it was right from the start, I remember watching it in my old house. About 4 years ago. Aw I loved it...I remember staying up to watch it sometimes when I didn't have to wake up early. I'd sit in the dark and watch and it was really cosy. Here...I don't get that same feeling anymore. Sometimes I wish I could go back there-I think I was much happier.
Occasionally when they play certain songs on TV shows it just gets me hooked on to the song. Like in Smallville when Lana was leaving Clark's barn they played 'In my place' and sometime last season they played 'Hero'...they just seemed so appropriate and I ended up listening to them over and over again. In Felicity's last episode they had Sarah McLachlan's 'I will remember you' and that's partly what made me cry. Somehow it's not the same as listening to it on the radio as listening to it played during a certain scene on TV. :/
