After-birthday ranting
First of all, thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday!
It was great...not least of all because of .(Picture and lots of talk under the cut)
You know the kind of wish that you always name when someone asks but wouldn't dream about anyone giving you THAT for your birthday?
For example, my sister and me always wished for a swimming pool when we were younger. We never got one, because - and my parents are probably right, I think now - it's too expensive to maintain for so few days of really good weather when you can use it.
This year, I had another of these wishes. I wanted a pair of lovebirds. I never thought I'd actually get any, but I just thought they were so amazing.
And I got them.
