christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, for many reasons:
1. PRESENTS.
2. picking out the perfect gifts for each special person in your life.
3. the music.
4. the feeling of closeness.
5. cheerful people.
6. hot cocoa.
7. candy canes.
8. christmas trees.
9. the great food.
10. pretty lights.
this weekend was filled with christmas shopping. friday night chris and i went shopping to look for my dad's gift. i picked out a few things i think he'll like. we ran into abigail, kelly, and brandie; they were out doing some christmas shopping of their own (at least ab was). chris and i spent the longest time in the antique place connected to the mall, but then it got boring and we got tired of the smell, so we left. i found like 1,000 really neat james dean things. chris showed me this thing..it's like this silver thing with four different tubey parts, and you stick your quarters in one, dimes in one, ect...and you press down this little lever thingy for each one, and one of the coins drops out. that's how they gave out change back in the day. i thought that was so cool! those are the times when i wish i lived back in those days.
saturday morning sara came over and we talked the entire morning away (because we have lives), and then went to visit kate at wal-mart and drop off my film. what's really fantastic is when i get this awesomee ice cream from pretzel plus, and there's a HAIR IN IT. i was so annoyed, so i decided to eat fresh instead, where i got to see my love renee, and hayley also. chris stopped over before work and we watched 'ernest saves christmas'. i freaking love those movies. he got mc donalds and tricked me into drinking this sick eggnog milkshake. i almost threw up all over him. gross. dad and i spent quality time together shopping in york saturday night. i was sadly surprised that i couldn't find anything good at the galleria, and the cute pants i found were all too long. i hate being short! after the mall we went to toys r us. absolutely miserable. it was jam packed with crazy mothers fighting over the last ninja turtle or whatever, and it was 200 degrees in there. i wanted to kill myself.
this morning i woke up around 9:45 and jumped in the shower, got ready, then sar and i hit up the gettysburg outlets to get ideas for what we want to buy the boys. we found really cute stuff in american eagle, but we're holding off for park city next weekend. at gap i bought a sweatsuit, a sweater, and three shirts for $88, then a cute turquoise shirt from aeropastel, which is surprising because i never find stuff i like at aero..but it was only $10, so whatever. chris spent the afternoon with me, but he didn't feel well so we just slept the entire time, except for when angelita made us dinner. it was so good! tiff, all i can say is 'cauliflower'. MY tp & j otter! <3. i'm going to watch my two favorites play tomorrow! then hopefully jasmine's staying the night. i love you girlsss.
