This morning, Jon was giving me my morning kisses. But he was doing them in a funny-fake-kissy-loud way. The noise caught Stella's attention and she ran up to him, pushed him away from me and start giving him kisses on his lips!!! it was so funny!
But apparently that only works when Jon is the one giving kisses. When I tried it by giving Jon noisy kisses, Stella just sat there continuing to groom herself. @_@
Another funny thing; Stella and her tricks. Stella is a pretty smart little puppy. She's been learning her tricks quickly. When she sees me grab a handful of treats and stands up, she immediately knows that we're about to practice her tricks. Before I issue a command, she goes right into every trick she has learned so far, hoping one of them will stick and be the one I was looking for! She'll sit, then lie down, then sit back up, bark, then jump up, then sit back down. Finally when none of that is the right one, she lies down and put her paws on her nose. It's as if trying to hide from the fact that I had a handful of treats and I won't give it to her until she actually obeys a command instead of the trick-diarrhea she was trying to pull.
We brought her to a daycare interview where the trainers there brought her into a playpen with 20 or so similar sized dogs were playing. I was so anxious I was watching from the window. Stella looked back and saw me and refused to go inside. The trainer waved me away. The moment I stepped back, Stella ran right in to join in the play! gosh, I'm such an anxious doggy-mommy. @_@ I still have so much learning to do!
