omg, I thought it was going to be a seriously cheesypoof movie... instead, I cried TWICE!! TWICE!!!

It was SOOOO good!! I had to watch the last two chapers over just to see how brilliantly it had all tied together again.

When I saw the commercial for the DVD on TV the other nite, I had thought to myself, I should add it to my Netflix queue.... I didn't expected it to arrive so quickly.

SO good. if you hadn't seen it, go see it.

it's like one of those ol black and white movie that just makes you believe in true love all over again.

edit: alright... the sci-fi geek in me creeped in as I was falling asleep. it struck me that there were some time-continum issues/discrepencies in the story. warning: SPOILER The most notable one is the ending.... if she had managed to get back to the Lakehouse and warn him not to try to find her on Valentine's day, then he wouldn't have died and would've met up with her on their intended "date" at Il Mare. And had that happened, then she wouldn't have gotten back with her fiance and would not have been sitting by the mail box crying thinking that he is dead... because Kate and Alex would have already been together for over a year and there would've been no need for that tearful meeting..... on the other hand... if she had warned him, then she wouldn't have written to him about the valentine's day traffic accident and he wouldn't have rushed home to find letter... gah, I'm in a some sort of time warp continum. (shakes head) never minds...

romance, movies
