A Story About My Weekend

Mar 21, 2005 11:37

Wow, I just had like the crazyiest weekend ever. I went home to Ulysses Friday night after work, because it was my parents 22nd wedding anniversary, so I thought I would go home and spend some time with them. I met them in Garden City, and we went out to dinner and did a small amount of shopping, since I got into town pretty late. It was really sweet though because J called me and told me good night and sweet dreams, while I was shopping. Just called me out of nowhere to let me know he was going out with his friends and wanted me to know so I wouldn't worry! It was the sweetest!!! :) So anyways, yea, I was pretty tired from all that driving, so I went home and went to sleep. Then Saturday, we went to Garden again, lol, it was a beautiful sunny day. Then came home and spent some time with the horses, and then I tried to call J. He pretty well yelled at me and told me I needed to quit bothering him because he was with his friends and that I always try to ruin his fun and ruin his life. I kept trying to figure out what had happened because I just called to say goodnight, but for some reason, here recently he has some chip on his shoulder that I am the worst person in the world and out to ruin his life. So I went out with a bunch of my friends that were home over Spring Break and hung out with them for a long time. We went and sang karaoke!! It was the best ever! I won for my lovely rendition of Christina Aguilera's "Fighter"! Hahaha, guess it helps when you are mad at a guy huh??? I think a bunch of my friends have some pictures of it I may have to post up, because I was up on this lil stage thing, with two of my girlfriends doing a cute little dance (LOL!!) behind me it was hilarious. I did manage to go through a little awkward thing with Derek though. Derek is a guy I've known for years and he sang Backstreet Boys "All I Have To Give" Corny yes, but it was cute at the time?! :) Hahaha, so I'm not sure if that was directed at me or not because he was staring at me and smiling a lot, but I am pretty oblivious to those things. All I know is that he has been askin me to come home more, so who knows!?!?! Anyways, then good ol' Sunday. I went to church and got to sing a few songs there, which is great, I am really loving singing right now, everywhere I go, it seems like I am singing something!!! :) I spent a lot of time with the horses again and then I got to drive home. Driving home in the middle of a killer thunderstorm is somewhat exciting for me, but at the same time, when I ended up having to pull over because the road was covered with so much hail, that's not exactly my idea of fun!!! But I survived and the monsoon is still continuing today. Once again, I called J to tell him goodnight, and his friend Trent.... who I am already starting to dislike, managed to say "What's she whining about now??" okay... number one, that's none of his business, and number two, I think it's only fair if J woulda said she's not whining, but instead of that, he manages to just laugh. I'm not sure exactly what happened to my big independent guy, but somewhere along the way, he has become a sad little follower that is really starting to make me mad. He does whatever his little friends say, and laughs at all of their little jokes, and it really irritates me. Maybe it's because I'm not exactly an outgoing person, but I always defend him, and I never talk mean about him. Yet, the one who is supposed to be tough, can't stand up to supposed "Friends" to tell them not to say that stuff about me. It's stupid! But anyways, he did manage to call me back last night long enough for me to finally tell him something that I'd been trying to tell him for a while. So I just hope he grows up here shortly and realizes that people who talk trash on him, and try to make him fight, and encourage him to do all this dumb stuff, are not his friends. Lol, how is it that this turned into a killer rant?!?! Lol, don't even get me started on more, because I have a feeling I'm going to be going off on Trent before it's said and done....
